With a background as a club DJ, journalist, broadcast media, booker, manager, as well as creative, executive and corporate advisor, Sat has made significant contributions to the music, media, and technology industries worldwide.
As a renowned A&R executive, Sat has worked with record labels such as Arista Records, Atlantic Records, BMG, Capitol Records, Columbia, Concord, Epic, EMI, Interscope, Island Records, LAVA Records, Nettwerk, Parlophone, RCA, Warner Records, and others. Through his expertise, he has played a crucial role in discovering and signing many artists who have achieved global success.
Sat’s impact goes beyond his work with record labels. He played a pivotal role in creating and managing the global A&R Network, the first-of-its-kind resource for record labels, publishers, managers, booking agents, and creatives. This initiative was developed during his tenure at Clear Channel Radio and Clear Channel Entertainment, now known as Live Nation. Additionally, Sat was instrumental in the establishment of The New Music Network, which has evolved into iHeart Media – one of the world’s most influential audio and media platforms.
In 2006, Sat launched Pangaea Entertainment Group, which houses prominent brands like A&R Worldwide, MUSEXPO, and Worldwide Radio Summit. His radio show, Passport Approved, is globally syndicated and serves as a tastemaker platform for pre-discovery music. It has been broadcasted on over 80 radio platforms worldwide, including notable stations like KROQ Los Angeles, KNDD Seattle, KNRK Portland, Q101 Chicago, Flux FM Berlin (Germany), Radio Doble Nueve Lima (Peru), Radio 1 Mumbai (India), and many others and has featured guests hosts including Apple’s Zane Lowe, and Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive & President Music, EA Games. Sat’s also been a DJ on KCRW and KCSN Los Angeles.
