Tamzene, the young multi-instrumentalist from the coastal town of Cromarty in the Highland area of Scotland, burst onto the scene in 2017 with her stunning debut single "Lullaby." The song earned airplay on a range of radio networks and picked up support from a host of national and international media channels. Having learned how to play the violin at the young age of eight, at 14 she further extended her musical dexterity by picking up a guitar and began to write her own material. Tamzene's musical influences range from legends including Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin and Nina Simone to contemporary artists such as Birdy, James Bay and Alicia Keys.
Discovered while busking on the streets of Iverness by bookers from Scotland's Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, Tamzene's debut year saw her perform at a host of UK festivals as well as dates across mainland Europe and the U.S., including a stellar performance at MUSEXPO Los Angeles. Tamzene then went on to perform at Live at Leeds, TRNSMT, Sunday Sessions Scotland, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, Hampton Court Palace Festival and many more. She was also picked by Festival Republic and the PRS Foundation to participate in the pioneering ReBalance program and saw her latest offering, "Last Song" secure exposure on over eight global Spotify New Music Friday Playlists.
