Ori Alboher is a singer, songwriter, musician and record producer born in Jerusalem working under the name ORI. Building up melodic, rhythmic and repetitive structures using mainly his voice, loops and beats that move between intimacy and distant depths.
His debut solo album Unwind was released in 2012, building a loyal crowd of followers for ORI and receiving great reviews. The album was released in 2016 worldwide due to fans demand reaching many more ears and hearts.
In late 2017 Ori released his sophomore album 1986 and toured throughout Europe. The new album mixes organic and electronic soundscapes, and features the widely played single “Black Book,” which appeared on season 1, episode 10 of the American TV show Shooter (USA Network). The 2nd single “On The Floor” was featured in the critically acclaimed film Dead Women Walking, which was directed by Hagar Ben-Asher & produced by ‘Blackpills’. Jay Rock sampled ORI’s song “Solo” on his 2018 album REDEMPTION. The samples on the song were curated by Kendrick Lamar himself and the song was produced by Sounwave.
ORI tours to his growing and devoted crowd in venues and festivals across Europe and Israel. ORI's is currently working on his upcoming third studio album due this year.
