Polaroid Summer is the combined talents of two well-known Houston bands, Lost Element and Versecity. Polaroid Summer is comprised of lead vocalist Micaiah Walker (formerly of Versecity) and former Lost Element members drummer Brian Barrett, guitarist Trace Sisson and bassist Kenneth Conlon. After years of touring, writing and tirelessly supporting their previous projects, both bands decided it was time to for a fresh start. Polaroid Summer wasted no time jumping into the scene, playing more than 80 shows in 2017, including festivals, college shows, sold-out headlining shows in their hometown, along with an appearance at the 2017 MUSEXPO in LA. The band made headway with their first single “The Giant,” mixed by 17-time Grammy award winner Serban Ghenea. Polaroid Summer was named on of the “HOT 100 Acts of 2017” by Music Connection magazine. They guys also spent much of 2017 working on their debut EP at Mix star studios in Virginia Beach, VA with producer Bryce Bordone, the nephew of Serban Ghenea. Delivering hook after hook, the band hopes to release multiple singles from this EP starting with their newest single, “Tides,” which premiered in January.
