Song: "Get Your Sexy On"

Siblings Sarah and Hamish McIntosh are Lovestarrs. Described sonically as the British love child of George Michael and Katy Perry, Lovestarrs' energetic pop promises to boost your mood and make you dance. Hamish learned guitar at age eight, followed by bass two years later. After years of playing the violin and eventually drums, Sarah discovered her Grandmother's 1980s Yamaha keyboard ready to be thrown out from her attic, instantly fell in love with the retro sounds and drum loops and immediately began writing songs with it. Adding third bandmate George Hinton, the trio was signed to EMI in 2011 under the name The Good Natured. They headlined the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury and had almost completed their debut album when EMI was sold and the group dropped. Disillusioned, George opted out, but the McIntosh siblings were determined to succeed. Adopting the name Lovestarrs, the duo released an EP that received over 100,000 streams on SoundCloud, attracting the attention of indie label DEFDISCO. Having lost their previous masters to EMI, Lovestarrs opted to crowd-fund their new release via a Kickstarter campaign, allowing them to maintain ownership and control of their music. Their eagerly anticipated debut album Planet Lovestarr was released March 17, 2017 via DEFDISCO/WMG.
