CHEMIA

CHEMIA

Origin: Warsaw, Poland
Contact: Arek Michalski

Song: "Grey"

Chemia was formed in Warsaw, Poland, in the mid-2000s by guitarist Wojtek Balczun. With a solid lineup (comprised of vocalist Mario Dyba, guitarists Balczun and Mac Papalski, bassist Chris Jaworsky and drummer Adam Kram) and some touring experience, they flew to Vancouver, Canada to record their debut EP In the Eye (2012). Chemia has constantly hit top positions on rock radio charts, including AntyRadio - the most popular rock radio station in Poland – while acquiring an increasing number of fans. After releasing LP The One Inside (Metal Mind, 2013), Chemia played an important showcase at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood that set in motion the international release of their newest effort Let Me (2015) by German label Rodeostar/SPV. Top-level production and engineering by Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Metallica) propelled Chemia and Let Me to success on the international market. They played their next European tour as a supporting act for Skindred in 2015, introducing their music to thousands of new fans. As of 2017, Chemia has played dozens of headlining shows attracting between 400 and 1500 fans and has shared the stage with Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Bring Me The Horizon and Alice in Chains, among many others.
