Singer/songwriter, Egil Olsen, has for almost a decade released several critically acclaimed albums on his own little label back in his home country, Norway. He is constantly touring and has become a live favorite, combining his vulnerable, intimate and naivly honest songs with his unpredictible humor and charming stage prescence. Besides handeling most instruments and producing his own music, he also makes his own artwork and music videos. He has made music for TV and film, and recently had several songs in the computer game 'Dreamfall," where he also appears within the game, doing a full concert, as a 3-D animated character. He has even made a daily comic strip for one of Norway's leading newspapers, about himself, his music and "the somewhat pathetic life of a relatively unknown superstar". Egil Olsen was even given his very own tribute album, released on limited vinyl, with several Norwegian artists doing their versions of Egil Olsen's hits.
