For over 25 years Ritch Esra has been running the Music Business Registry, which includes The A&R Registry, The Publisher Registry, The Music Business Attorney Registry, Artist Manager Registry and The Film and Television Music Monthly. Among the subscribers are record company executives, music publishers, managers, agents, attorneys, studios and other various music business professionals in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto, London, Dublin, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Stockholm, Sydney and Munich, providing clients with the most vital, accurate and up to date information they need to contact the entire A&R, music publishing, artist management, legal and film and television music communities.

Ritch has worked in the music business since 1978, starting at trade magazine Record World and then joining A&M Records in the Radio Promotion Dept. In 1982, he joined Arista Records in the A&R Dept. where he signed The Thompson Twins to their US deal as well as Mara Getz. For the last 25 years, he has run The Music Business Registry and has also taught courses on the music business at UCLA Extension and Musician's Institute.
