FUDASCA is a producer and composer from Rome. His vintage approach and
warm sound always looking for instant-classic atmospheres have made him an
institution of the lo-fi/chill hip-hop subculture, convincing international artists such as Jay B (South Korea), Powfu (Canada), Sody, Cavetown (England), Rxseboy,
Snơw (USA). In Italy he is known for collaborating with Paola & Chiara, Massimo
Pericolo, Psicologi, Tredici Pietro and the new generation of rap and street-pop,
whose projects often convey elegance, with his recognizable style and his
exploration of various musical traditions. Given that his music is full of oriental
references, which from the Cowboy Bebop world led him to explore the citypop
recently and at large the Japanese and Korean culture of the 80s-90s, his
productions are particularly appreciated in South Korea, where several established
artists (including Junny, Junggigo, Ted Park...) see in him a mirror able to return
the local pop, reworked with an Italian sensitivity to Dolce Vita.
