Born in South London, on the turn of the millennium, Azul Kechi is a Nigerian-British singer- songwriter bringing flavours of soul, pop & R&B together for a new era of music. She brings influences from the likes of Amy Winehouse, Kali Uchis, Betty Davis, and Lauryn Hill, merged with a fresh, raw & unique rhythmic vocal. Azul's debut album, 'Celestial Love', sees her drawing on her life experiences as a person who feels different and is navigating the world coming into their own. Each song released takes the listener further into her celestial realm. The 14 track album unfolds from the first release, introducing us to Azul and her celestial alter-ego and the journey of self-discovery, funk & sassiness as she explores her universal landscape, but also takes us on a deeper note, delving into a cosmic dimension of introspection and self-actualization.
