On October 9, 2022, emerging British artist Harry Lloyd, aka Waiting For Smith, asked 63 random people on the streets of Amsterdam, 'What is it that you really want to heal?' He asked each one of them to write their answer on his own naked body and it was all captured on camera for his latest track "Heal."
Harry knows a lot about the need to heal. Seven years ago, as a young ski instructor in the French Alps, he had a tragic accident and broke his back in two places. Fighting for breath on the helicopter ride to the hospital, he had an epiphany that, if he survived, he would dedicate his life to music. The next year, in rehab, he taught himself to play the guitar, and that was the birth of Waiting For Smith.
Since then, this GQ and Rolling Stone-approved songwriter has earned international support with airplay on over 250 global radio stations, including endorsements from Huw Stephens (Radio 1), Dermot O'Leary and Jo Whiley (Radio 2), Shaun Keaveny and Tom Robinson (6 Music), and BBC Music Introducing Oxford and London. He has toured Europe and the U.S. supporting Kawehi, and performed at numerous festivals including Latitude, Wilderness, Electric Picnic, Port Elliot, EA Festival, Idler Festival and Truck.
